We Gave Them What They Asked For ...”

When we are asked why kid's love the Shed, its simple ... "We gave them what they asked for" a place to call their own and activities that they want to do" ... a change in programme at The Shed usually comes about because that's what they young people ask us ...

Lots of different things happen at the Shed. There are pool tables, foosball table, 2 xbox 360's, 2 ps3's as well as large screen TV with a Nintendo Wii. A big screen for Films, TV and Video games, a tuck shop and an outside games area with a large MUGA for football and basketball. The Shed also has its own radio show. Lots to do for active minds ...

We don't have many rules but the ones we do have we stick too .. No Swearing, No Fighting, No Bullying, No Drinking, No Drugs, How are they applied, consistently! After years of working with young people we discover they have a better time when the boundaries are clear ..

The Shed is open for young people between the ages of 8yrs and 16yrs. We are not bothered where young people come from, or what their background is ... to be a part of the Shed all they need to do is follow the rules and they'll have a great time.
